Angela Harper

Angela Harper has almost 30 years of bank industry experience. She began her career as a Bank Examiner working for the Comptroller of the Currency. Over the years Angela climbed through the ranks, eventually deciding to join a small team of banking professionals who wanted to purchase and grow a bank. Angela and her colleagues purchased their first bank in 2010. The bank had 140 million in total assets and three branches. Today, her team has acquired six institutions and managed organic growth that has taken the business to a 3.2 billion dollar publicly traded institution with over 20 branches in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston.

Angela received two degrees from Texas Tech, earning her B.B.A in finance in 1989 and her M.B.A. in 1990. She is a former Habitat for Humanity, Dallas, board member, a current member of the Dallas Area Compliance Association, current treasurer of First Christian Church of Allen, and volunteers with the Allen Competitive Shooting Team.

Angela lives north of Dallas with her husband and their three children. A great deal of her free time is devoted to being involved with her children's extracurricular activities. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and loves when she has time to be a "foodie."
