Lance Lee Morris
Lance Morris is a 33-year veteran of the Austin real estate industry. In 2012, he became president of The Retail Connection, a Dallas-based commercial real estate firm. He previous served as president and director of brokerage at the Austin office of The Weitzman Group for 21 years.
Morris was named the top retail broker in Austin by the Austin Business Journal in 2007 and 2008 and second in 2009. The sale of Crossroads Shopping Center was named by the journal in 2011 as the retail sales transaction of the year.
At Texas Tech University, Morris earned a B.B.A in Marketing (1982). He has since served on the Chancellor's Council for several years.
Additional civic and community involvement includes president of the Young Republicans Association, Real Estate Council of Austin Board of Directors, University Presbyterian Church, Tejas Vaqueros, National Cutting Horse Association and Texas Tech Ranching Heritage Association.
Morris and his wife, Stephanie, have two children.
