Pathway to STEM MBA Program

The Pathway program to the STEM MBA prepares undergraduate's pursuing a major in a STEM field, to complete a Master's of Business Administration degree. The program focuses on leadership development, professional communication, and service learning. Completion of the Pathway program develops business skills for students with a technical background, and prepares them for careers in many industries.*

As a Pathway participant, students will register for a one credit hour business seminar each semester where they will:

  • Gain access to the Rawls leadership speaker series
  • Participate in cross disciplinary service learning projects
  • Have access to GMAT preparation
  • Earn a waiver for GMAT fee

*Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher and complete the GMAT exam by the end of their junior year in order to apply to the STEM MBA program. Upon acceptance, students may take up to 12 hours in their senior year.

Incoming Students

After acceptance to Texas Tech University, you are eligible to apply for the Pathway program to STEM MBA. Applications for incoming students will be open until January 15th.
