What do you enjoy most about the Rawls College?
The Rawls College of Business has provided me with multiple opportunities and connections to become successful. As students, we are not only provided with state-of-the-art facilities and tools, but we also get to learn and interact with top-level, experienced professionals, who want to see us succeed inside and outside the classroom. The Rawls College has created a safe and unique atmosphere for its students to develop themselves and become successful future business leaders.
Why did you decide to be a Rawls ambassador?
I decided to become a Rawls Ambassador to be able to give back to the college that has provided me with so many opportunities and connections. I also wanted to be able to take a leadership position that will help me positively impact other members of the Texas Tech community. Being an ambassador has given me the opportunity to demonstrate my passion for this institution and be able to share it with the rest of the students and community.
Do you have any advice for new students coming into the Rawls College?
My advice for new incoming students is to get involved. The Rawls College offers a variety of organizations that will help you meet new people with similar interests and build long lasting relationships. Also, take advantage of all the services the Rawls College offers. We are extremely fortunate to have multiple resources that are dedicated just for student success. Lastly, don't be afraid to ask questions. Everyone within the college is really friendly and will always be willing to help.
