About Francisco

Dr. Francisco Delgadillo is the faculty director for diversity at the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business and an associate professor of practice within the Information Systems and Quantitative Sciences department.  He earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, as well as an MBA and PhD from the Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business.  Dr. Delgadillo has received numerous teaching awards including the Mortar Board/ODK Outstanding Faculty Award as well as the Daily Toreador Best Professor Award at Texas Tech (two time recipient).  He serves as mentor to college students through the Mentor Tech program and the Rawls Business Leadership Program and also as faculty advisor for the Multicultural Student Business Association, Women in Business, Tech Club Golf and the Delta Psi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma.  Dr. Delgadillo works closely with the International Business Office promoting study abroad programs and has conducted numerous faculty led programs to Spain and Portugal, Mexico as well as Brazil and Chile.  Dr. Delgadillo’s work experience includes positions as a senior electrical engineer in the aerospace industry as well as a business systems consultant. His research interests include Quality Assurance and Quality Control as well as Ethics in Information Systems.
