Xu Niu is a PhD student and job market candidate in the Area of Finance at the Rawls College of Business. He has defended his dissertation proposal and expects to receive his PhD in Finance in Spring 2018. He has earned a PhD in Mathematics (2017) and an MS in Statistics (2014) from Texas Tech University as secondary programs of study. He has double-major experiences in both areas of Finance and Mathematics at all university-levels. Before entering the PhD program in Finance at the Rawls College of Business, he earned an MA in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Wuhan University. He also graduated from Wuhan University with double Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and in Finance.
