About Hamid

Hamid Vahidnia is interested in sociological and psychological approaches to entrepreneurship and management. He has an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Texas Tech University (Lubbock, Texas) and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Khajeh Nasiredin Toosi University of Technology (Tehran, Iran). Prior to joining the PhD program in the Area of Management at the Rawls College of Business, he worked in several national-level projects in the management consultancy industry of Iran. Currently, Hamid is working on a number of research projects investigating the phenomenon of increasing inequality of entrepreneurial opportunity within developed and developing economies. He is also studying how entrepreneurs cope with the inaction-constraints that are put on entrepreneurs' value creation as a result of inequality of entrepreneurial opportunity and other factors.
