Dennis Anderson, M.Ed.
Dennis was raised near Taos, New Mexico. He received his B.S. degree in Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University. Upon graduation, Dennis returned to New Mexico and worked as a CPS worker for the Department of Human Services. He later moved to Lubbock to work for Buckner Children's Home as a social worker. During that time he received his M.Ed. in Counseling from Texas Tech. Before joining the staff of the Career Management Center as the Associate Director for Graduate and Non-Traditional students, Dennis spent 13 years working for South Plains College as a counselor. He and his wife have 2 grown children, both are TTU graduates. Dennis and Cheryl are looking forward to becoming first time grandparents in the spring.
