Mark graduated from Texas Tech in May 2007 with a BBA and MSA in Accounting. Soon after graduation, Mark obtained his Texas CPA license and began his career as an auditor with KPMG, LLP in their Fort Worth office. At KPMG, Mark worked in the financial services group performing audits of hedge funds and private equity firms. In 2012, Mark left KPMG to work in SEC reporting at Crestwood Midstream Partners located in Fort Worth, Texas. Crestwood owned and operated assets in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas and Pennsylvania during his tenure and has since expanded. There Mark worked with executive management to ensure accurate and timely filings with the SEC. In 2013, Mark joined Double Eagle Energy Holdings LLC as Controller of the start-up oil and gas company in Fort Worth formed by fellow Texas Tech graduates. At Double Eagle, Mark oversees all accounting, financial reporting and treasury functions.
Mark met his wife at Texas Tech, and they have three daughters and enjoys spending time with his family and being active. He has run four marathons since graduating with the most exciting one being the New York Marathon in November 2013. Mark also loves to hit the links when he is not with family or at work.
Mark joined Rawls Raiders to help promote/connect Texas Tech graduates to other Texas Tech professionals in industry to further endorse the Texas Tech marque.
