Site preparation has kicked into full gear. The last remaining trees that needed to be removed were taked out over the last week. As soon as final construction documents have been drafted, the site will change almost daily!

Leisure Pool Official Groundbreaking Ceremony Held On Oct. 5 at 10:00AM

Texas Tech Rec Sports is pleased to announce the construction on the Student Leisure Pool has officially begun!! The two acre facility will be able to accommodate 2000 patrons and will include a full size lap pool, a lazy river, wet decks for relaxation, hot tub, drop shoot, bubble benches, a pool side cafe, a social pool for water basketball and volleyball and an area for outdoor concerts and dive-in movies. The pool is expected to be completed in Fall 2008 with a grand opening in Spring 2009.
