Fall Youth Learn to Swim:

We will have a limited schedule of Youth Learn to Swim Classes in the Fall. Classes range from Parent and Me to Level 4. (Classes subject to change based on availability and class size)

Sessions:

Fall Session Tuesdays and Thursdays October 6 - 29 6:00 - 8:00pm


Register your child at the Leisure Pool! (August 27 - September 27)
In order to place your child in the correct class, we ask that all registrations be done in person. No registration will be taken once classes begin. Payment must be made upon registration.

After September 27, please register in the Aquatic Center

The Leisure Pool is located near the South entrance of the Student Rec Center on the TTU campus.

General Information:
*Students should be able to perform previous level skills before moving on to the next level (i.e. student must be able to perform ALL Level 3 skills before moving onto Level 4)
*If a child's skill level is not appropriate for the Level in which they are signed up, changes will occur ONLY if there is space in another class level.
*Switching classes or sessions is very difficult. Please be sure of the time and dates for which you are registering.
*The last day of class is a "fun" day allowing students to participate in recreational swimming.
*Swimsuits are required.
*We will have class on "Bad Weather" Days.
*All students not toilet trained must be in a proper swim diaper.

Cost:

$35 for TTU Students and employees
$37 for Lubbock Community
Sorry, no refunds.

Private lessons available for kids and adults, $75 for (3) 50 minutes sessions.

*Create a sound foundation for aquatic and safety skills
LEVEL II (5+ years)
Fundamental Aquatic Skills
*Expand on fundamental aquatic locomotion and safety skills
LEVEL III
Stroke Development
*Increase swimming skill competency
*Practice safety and rescue skills
LEVEL IV
Stroke Improvement
*Develop confidence and competency in strokes and safety skills beyond preceding levels
*Introduction of breaststrokes and sidestrokes
