Group Fitness Classes

Group Fitness classes have been a mainstay of the Rec Sports environment since the beginning of the program. From spandex and knee high socks to hip hop aerobics and Zumba, Group Fitness has expanded and changed with new fitness ideas and popular classes. Currently, all of our group fitness classes fall under the RaiderX name. There are two different types of classes. RaiderX and Raider X2.

 

RaiderX Group Fitness Classes

Raider X Group Fitness Classes are offered free to all Rec Center members.  Trained Instructors teach over 30 classes each week that allow members to exercise in a fun and safe group atmosphere. Regardless of your fitness level, you can achieve your fitness goals by enjoying a variety of classes including everything from cardiovascular exercise to strength training. 

All Mind/Body classes such as Yoga, Pilates, and Yogalates are now FREE!!!!!! Check the RaiderX Fitness schedule for class dates and times! Class sizes are limited to a first come, first serve basis.

Raider X2 Group Fitness Classes

Raider X2 Group Fitness classes are specialty classes that are offered in 6 week sessions.  Dance, Spin and Mind and Body classes are a few of the many classes offered, all of which are taught by highly skilled instructors.  Registration and payment can be made in the Fitness/Wellness office. Sign up today !

Pre-Natal Fitness Class

Great opportunity to exercise for pre- or post-natal women in the water. Please call the Fit/Well at 742-3828 for updates about the Pre-Natal class.

The class is $40 for Rec Center members and $50 for non-members.

Fitness2 You is a new program that allows you to schedule a fitness class, chair massages, or a Fit/Well speaker to come to your place of recreation or business. Schedule a time with us for our professional staff to come to your office, greek house, residence hall, or classroom.
