Moab Mountain Biking

A trip to the Moab Mountain Range in Utah that will provide a combination of mountain biking and rock climbing for the adventurous outdoorsman. We will use the spring break week to challenge trails and cliffs, refine our biking and climbing skills, and practice environmental preservation techniques while enjoying the full splendor of a true American outdoorsman destination.

Learning Goals:
Proper Mountain bike fit, gear shifting, rider awareness, riding techniques, PD trail system, a little canyon history, and some aspects of Leave No Trace environmental ethics.

Prior Experience:
One previous OPC Mountain Biking Trip

Physical/Mental Challenge:
Moderate to strenuous. Mountain biking requires your full attention and willingness to work hard. Uphills can be very strenuous and downhills can be really fast.

  • Mountain Bike suitable for trail use (may be rented from OPC at discounted trip rate)
