Horseshoe canyon in home to over 300 bolted sport climbing routes with a wide variety of techniques and challenges. The easily accessed sandstone cliff sides are one of the best climbing destinations around. Ozark Mountains

Canoeing and Rock Climbing

Learning Goals:
Canoeing basics such as paddle strokes and teamwork, some river ecology, aspects of Leave No Trace environmental ethics. Rock climbing equipment function and proper uses, belaying techniques and climbing movement skill development.

Prior Experience:

Physical/Mental Challenge:
Moderate. Some climbing routes may be challenging, but there is adequate variety to serve all adventurers.
