We will spend five days rock climbing at Horseshoe Canyon and canoeing the Buffalo River in the beautiful Northern Arkansas Ozark Mountains. Horseshoe canyon in home to over 300 bolted sport climbing routes with a wide variety of techniques and challenges. The easily accessed sandstone cliff sides are one of the best climbing destinations around. Canoeing basics such as paddle strokes and teamwork, some river ecology, aspects of Leave No Trace environmental ethics. Rock climbing equipment function and proper uses, belaying techniques and climbing movement skill development.

Moderate. Some climbing routes may be challenging, but there is adequate variety to serve all adventurers.
