Caprock Day Hike - May
Come to the home of the Texas state bison herd and experience a historical view of the West Texas high plains. Caprock Canyons is located in the center of the Panhandle near the town of Quitaque. Along with 13 trails, Caprock canyon also features a 64.25 mile Railroad converted trailway. There are also numerous opportunities to see a variety of native flora and fauna including Golden Eagles. Our day trip will take you on a moderate loop trail with a break for lunch at an enjoyable view. Come dressed for the weather.
