Cross Country Mountain Biking
Proper Mountain bike fit, gear shifting, rider awareness, riding techniques, PD trail system, a little canyon history, and some aspects of Leave No Trace environmental ethics.
No experience required.
Moderate to strenuous. Mountain biking requires your full attention and willingness to work hard. Uphills can be very strenuous and downhills can be really fast. Mountain biking is much different than riding on the street and requires learning new skills to keep you on two wheels. New riders should expect to be challenged yet have fun, but also be prepared to fall of the bike a time or two.

- Mountain bike suitable for trail use* (limited number of mountain bikes available for rental)
- Helmet (limited number of helmets available for rental)

*Personal bikes will be inspected by trip leaders to determine suitability
