Palo Duro Day Hike
The Grand Canyon of Texas has much to offer the day hiker with fantastic canyon views and a variety of recreational pursuits. Besides juniper and mesquite you will may run into roadrunners, mule deer, barbary sheep, Texas longhorns and the famed but rare Texas horned lizard. This moderate hike will take you up to the well know geographical attraction the light house stone column and may allow for some other trail exploration.
