Wilderness First Responder
You’ll be in good hands learning from the experienced staff of the Wilderness Medical Training Center. In this nine day course you’ll learn the ins and outs of backcountry diagnosis, care, and evacuation for most wilderness medical situations. Along with the interesting lecture component, a lot of your time will be spent performing the skills you learn in emergency scenarios throughout the Junction campus. While your days are full you may find the time to tube the llano river or head to town for dinner.
