Natural High Mountain Bike Race

Need an excuse to go mountain biking? Come and compete in our annual Natural High Mountain bike race and meet other local mountain bikers. Beginners to advanced bikers are welcome to sign up and enjoy the fun and camaraderie at the Lubbock MLK bike course. TTU and Lubbock community riders welcome.

Registration Info

Date: Saturday, October 15


$5 with a valid Tech ID

$10 for community

Schedule of Events:

  • 8:00 am – 8:30am - Registration at trailhead
  • 8:45am – Racer’s Meeting
  • 9:00am - Race begins

The racers will be divided into three different groups according to skill:

  • The Beginner course will be approximately 8.5 miles
  • The Sport course will be approximately 15.5 miles
  • The Expert course will be approximately 21 miles

The course will be set on Friday April 8th. You are encouraged to ride the course before the race.

Activity Specifics

Location: Martin Luther King Park Bike course

Directions: Travel East on 19th St., turn right (South) on Martin Luther King Blvd. Turn left at the bottom of the hill. Travel until you come to the first parking lot on the south side of the road. The trailhead will be on the north side of the road.
