Baseball
The Texas Tech Club Baseball Team, a university sanctioned team that plays nationwide competitive baseball through the National Club Baseball Association. We will be playing a 30 game season that starts February 18th and runs until May 1st, and are looking to break into the Top 10 national rankings this season. There is a regional playoff and World Series that follow our regular season schedule if we win our conference.
Our team is made up of around 20 players that range from freshmen to graduate students. We practice 2 hours a day, four times a week. Our team is an official student organization and we are student ran. Try-outs are held every semester and you must pay semester dues as well. The great thing about our club is that it gives many of us the opportunity to hold leadership positions in areas such as President, Vice President, Treasurer, Philanthropy, and Social chair. This allows us to do a lot of things to help benefit our future in that we get leadership and organizational experience by planning, organizing, and coordinating travel, activities, and games throughout the year. We also participate as a team in activities around campus and volunteer our time and service for a charity event every semester. Click here for our website.
