Inline Hockey
The Tech Inline Hockey Club was founded in 1996 as part of the Southwest Collegiate Hockey League. The SCHL is a founding member of the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA). The Southwest Collegiate Hockey League was founded in 1994-1995 with the primary goal of promoting and supporting collegiate hockey in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana by emphasizing academic performance, institutional sanction, eligibility criteria, standards of play and opportunities for national competition.
The Inline Hockey Club practices twice a week, Monday and Wednesday nights, at Southwest Sportsplex located in Lubbock, Texas. The Club plays 20 regular season games from October to the following March in tournaments located in DFW. More information about the SCHL and our club can be found at www.schl.org.
The Tech Inline Hockey Club has competed at Nationals three times. Most recently, the club has competed in 2006 at Raleigh, North Carolina and 2009 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the National tournament.
