The Judo Club as Texas Tech University is a club that offers open enrollment to all Texas Tech University students, as well as both recreational and competitive opportunities. Some Judo Club members enjoy the self-defense lessons, while others appreciate the unique exercise opportunity of the sport, and a few members strive to win competitive events.
The Judo Club meets Monday, Wednesday, Friday, in room 116 in the Student Recreation Center at 7:00 PM for practice. Additionally, the club offers a children’s Judo Clinic every Sunday to the children of Texas Tech Rec Center members as a mode of community outreach.
