The Texas Tech Men’s Lacrosse Club is an organization that allows any Texas Tech University student the opportunity to participate in the exciting and fast-paced sport of Lacrosse. The mission of the club is to provide college-level competitive lacrosse opportunities to its members, as well as contribute to the communities of Texas Tech and Lubbock. We also seek to develop interpersonal skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and work ethic in all our members.
The Texas Tech Men’s Lacrosse Club is a member of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association, which consists of over 200 schools in the United States and Canada. Texas Tech plays in the Lone Star Alliance, which consists of the universities of Oklahoma, Texas, TCU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma State, SMU, LSU, Rice, Texas State, and North Texas.
Lacrosse is a physically demanding sport, but we encourage players of all skill levels and experience to come check out the club and participate. There is no tryout process, and all interested members are added to the club. Many of our players have organized lacrosse experience prior to joining the Club Team, and we are happy to be both a learning and competitive organization. Don’t hesitate to take a chance on the “Fastest Sport on Two Feet”!
