Tech Quidditch played its first game February 14, 2009. Since then we have had many practice games working our way towards the Quidditch World Cup in Vermont. Some of our games have provided us with some campus and community publicity. November of 2009 we challenged a local sports crew on their segment called “I Beat Pete”.We went to our first tournament this past April at Texas A&M. This coming year we are hoping to attend as many tournaments as funding will allow us.
Tech Quidditch is a fun competitive sport for Harry Potter fans and non fans alike. We are accepting anyone who is interested in this sport. We do not have tryouts but will split into teams as the team captains see fit. We have equipment and we have a practice pitch. The only thing we are missing is you.
