Waterski/Wakeboarding

If you love to hang out at the lake and perfect your wakeboarding skills, you have found the right sport club! We have a 2009 Axis A-22, an amazing boat. Buffalo Springs lake is only 15 minutes from campus which allows us to go out daily.

A majority of our members enjoy recreational wakeboarding, where no skill level is required.  We have riders of all levels that can help you progress your riding all the way from wake jumps to 7s and beyond.  The club is a great way to improve your riding and get to the next level whatever that may be.

We are a club with a diverse membership, but we also have a competitive team within our club.  The competitive team has about 10-12 people depending on which event we are going to. Anyone is eligible to compete, but tryouts are held prior to competitions if you wish to compete as part of the team.

We compete with numerous school around the state including the University of Texas, North Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and various schools from around the country.  We compete in the Collegiate Wake Series, put on by Empire Wake -a great company, as they host a great set of tournaments and provide a great atmosphere for collegiate wakeboarding.  We previously competed in the Collegiate Nationals by Empire Wake in Austin, TX where we ended up 13th in the nation.  We have a solid program that provides instruction and progression for any skill level from beginners to Outlaw riders anyone is welcome regardless of skill level.
