The Tech Wrestling Team is a great sports organization, not only because of the competition and great workout, but because of the fun practices and the friends made while spending time together. We are a competitive club that competes within the National Collegiate Wrestling Association. The NCWA is composed of over 200 club wrestling teams that compete on the national stage. Tech Wrestling has a tradition of success and each year we qualify several individuals who compete in the NCWA National Championships and work towards the goal of being national champions.
The Tech Wrestling Team travels across the nation to compete in various wrestling tournaments. This year we are traveling to places such as Colorado, Louisiana, and Virginia. So far this year, we have competed in one tournament, the Southwest Conference Open, in which we placed third. We had a total of seven wrestlers earn medals against competition which included all of the major teams in the southwest.
