Officer of the Month - January & February 2008
Amber Robbins (Gymnastics) & Ryan Blair (Wrestling)

Amber is currently serving as President for the Gymnastics Club. This is her first year as President, and the club has been ranked in the Top 5 of the Allocation Rankings ever since September 2007. Amber currently serves as the Executive Council Secretary and Co-Chair of the Philanthropy Committee in the Sport Clubs Council. She routinely gets her club to particpate in community service and fundraising opportunities.

This, too, is Ryan's first year serving as President of the Wrestling Club. Ryan does a good job turning in his club's paperwork and is a part of the Federation's Risk Management Task Force. This year, Wrestling is ranked within the Top 10 of the Allocation Rankings - a vast improvement from last year! Congrats, Amber & Ryan!

Club of the Month - January & February 2008
Kuk Sool Won & Gymnastics

Gymnastics recently hosted the TTU Gymnastics Meet earlier in February. They competed with such universities as the University of Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor and Texas State. The Men's Team finished 2nd as the Women's Team finished 3rd. Last week at the Texas A&M Tournament, both squads finished in 3rd Place. They have two more meets before their National Championship in Greensboro, NC in April.

Kuk Sool Won
has taken on some interesting additions for this year. For at least one of their practices during the month, they learn Korean at their practices and integrate the language into their practices. Also, whenever there's a special event going on at the Rec Center, KSW is always willing to assist with the cleaning, striking and setting-up of rooms. They are very proactive and an essential piece to the Federation's ecclectic sport club program.
