- What if I take the test and my scores are not available when I try to register for courses?
You will be required to sign a TSI Agreement Form stating the date the test was taken and what type of test you took. If you took a TSI approved test and entered incorrect information on your registration sheet, you must call NES, and they will let you know what will be needed to correct your test information.
- What if I have passing TSI approved test scores that are more than five years old and am TSI exempt from another institution?
You will need to provide documentation from the institution from which you have transferred.
- What if I took an Alternate test at another Texas public institution?
You will need to provide documentation of those test scores (PLEASE make sure the writing sample is included.)
- What if I have high test scores on the SAT, ACT, or TAKS and the time limit has passed?
You will need to take a TSI approved test or provide documentation from another Texas Public institution you have attended that you are exempt for high test scores.
