TSI Teacher Education Program

Students seeking admission to state-approved teacher education programs in Texas must pass all three sections of the THEA test regardless of the number of semester credit hours earned prior to fall 1989. Teacher education students are exempt from this requirement if they meet qualifying standards on the ACT, SAT, TAKS, or TAAS (see exemption information).
