Veteran's General Information

  1. All Students must fill out a VA enrollment card in the VA office after each registration. VA will only pay for courses that apply to a current degree program!
  2. All Students are responsible for submitting a current degree plan obtained from a Departmental Advisor to the Tech VA office. When an undergraduate student reaches 60 semester hours and is a junior in standing, he/she must also file an official degree plan with the Dean of their major. All graduate and law school students must have a plan on file at the beginning of their program. Copies must be on file in the Tech VA office for compliance with VA policy.
  3. All Students must notify the Tech VA Coordinator of changes in enrollment or address, repeating of a course, or leveling and remedial work.
  4. Concurrent enrollment at another institution can be arranged by contacting the Tech VA office for forms and rules governing this policy.
  5. Rates for kickers or College Fund are the maximum monthly rate allowed for each training rate. They are determined by the DOD and are not listed in any table following.

                    ___Visit the VA campus office, West Hall, Room 117  for federal VA benefits

                                    ___ Fill out your VA Enrollment Form 

                                    ___ Fill out your VA Application/Transfer form

                                    ___ Bring required paperwork  

     ____ 4.  Register for Red Raider Orientation at www.newstudentorientation.ttu.edu

                                     ___ (At Orientation) meet with Department Advisor

                                     ___ (At Orientation) Register for Classes

                                     ___ (At Orientation) Make any payment arrangements at www.sbs.ttu.edu

     During Semester


    ____ 1.  Each semester, after registering for classes, bring your class schedule to the VA campus office and comple
    te necessary paperwork

     ____ 2.  Report all changes to the VA campus office including: Added/dropped classes, withdrawal from the university, major or minor changes, address changes, incomplete or missing grades
