Whitacre College of Engineering Receives High Rankings

 

Business Insider and Best Value Colleges ranked the Whitacre College of Engineering among the top programs in the nation.

Business Insider ranked the college among the top 20 engineering programs in the nation and eighth among programs at public universities based on a review of PayScale's College Salary Report. The report evaluates the earnings of graduates who have earned bachelors degrees within the last 10 years.

Best Value Colleges named the Whitacre College of Engineering one of the best programs for bachelor's degrees in engineering. The publication gave the award based on Texas Tech's low tuition rates and return on investment for graduates. The college's large petroleum engineering program and wind energy research also contributed to the ranking.
