Jordy Moorman is a passionate technology investor, executive, mentor, and entrepreneur, and most recently, Jordy is the founder of Workforce Technologies, an HR Technology startup and creator of the WorkforceHQ platform.
Jordy's overall composition could be described as one part investor/entrepreneur, one part executive, one part community leader, and five parts husband & dad. Abby (an absolute superhero wife and mom) and Jordy have been blessed with five children in the last six years, and they keep themselves well-entertained with their three boys (Noah, Luke, and Michael), and two girls (Aubrey and Caroline).
In 2005, after graduating with a finance degree Texas A&M University, Jordy passed on the investment banking opportunities on Wall St for which he had prepared himself in college to return home to West Texas to marry his high school sweetheart, Abby, and while earning his MBA from Angelo State University in the evenings, Jordy began working full-time at TimeClock Plus, a very small software company with a few dozen employees as a level-one help desk technician making $7/hr. Over the next 9 years, Jordy would be promoted through roles in customer relations, accounting, finance, sales, and sales leadership before being named President in 2015 at the age of 30 and leading a historic period of growth and success for the company. In early 2018, after helping TimeClock Plus explode to almost 300 dedicated and passionate team members in West Texas, and solidifying its position as the leader in cloud-based workforce management technology serving more than 60,000 organizations in 50 different countries, Jordy left his twelve-year career at TimeClock Plus to startup Workforce Technologies with a broad focus on HR Technology.
