The Challenge

Rural school districts can have trouble finding, hiring, and preparing qualified students to work with students. Students with mental health or behavioral issues or disabilities may not have access to services that will help them succeed. 

Our Approach

• TechTeach Across Rural Texas, a specially designed program to meet the unique needs of college students in rural Texas areas who wish to remain in their home communities.
• Growing teachers, principals and superintendents who not only understand the basics and the foundation for quality educational programming, but also knows what the community needs and wants in terms of things for their students.
• Researching the qualities that are necessary for principals and superintendents to understand leadership skills in a rural setting.
• Preparing teachers and schools districts to help students with disabilities learn content and also  the skills they need become successful adults.
