Facilities and Equipment

Texas Tech Neuroimaging Institute (TTNI) is a mutli-user, research dedicated facility housed in the Experimental Sciences Building (ESB) on Texas Tech University's main campus. The TTNI is open to researchers on both TTU and TTU-HSC campuses. TTNI facilities have approximately 10,000 square foot of space on the first and basement floors of the ESB. This space includes faculty offices, meeting and interview rooms, reception and conference areas, as well as post-doctoral and graduate student workspaces in addition to the MRI suite itself. The focal point of the MRI suite is the state-of-the-art 3-Tesla Siemens Skyra MRI machine. Some capabilities of the Skrya include functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), MR spectroscopy (MRS).
