Thursday Night Movie: But I'm A Cheerleader
Thursday, October 6, 10pm-12am, SUB Escondido Theatre
Join us for a viewing of this hilariously satirical comedy starring Orange is the New Black's Natasha Lyonne. Main character Megan Bloomfield is sent to conversion therapy to "cure" her lesbianism, but what happens when she falls in love instead?
Friday, October 7, 7pm-9pm, Memorial Circle
To end Pride Week there will be a candlelight vigil held at Memorial Circle, where
the Texas Tech community will gather to reflect on the events of the past week and
events in LGBTQ+ history.
The vigil is not just a time of reflection, but a celebration of the barriers that have been overcome by the community and a charge to continue to bring light to the darkness.
