The Ad Hoc University Faculty Lounge Committee is responsible to the President for recommending policies relating to the creation and operation of a Faculty Lounge to be located in the Student Union Building. Following one year of activity, the Ad Hoc Committee will evaluate the need for its ongoing existence or recommend an alternative governance structure to the President.

1. Two Presidential appointees.
2. Five Faculty Senate appointees.
3. Director of the Student Union Building

Appointments will be made by the President for the presidential appointees. The Faculty Senate should appoint at least the majority of its appointees from its membership, although up to two non-senators might be included among its appointees. The chair of the committee will be selected by the President from the eight appointees.

The Committee will develop its own operating procedures.
