Senate Committees

Agenda Committee
The Agenda Committee, meeting on the first Monday of each month during the regular semesters, prepares the agenda for the following Senate meeting.
Academic Programs Committee
The Academic Programs Committee evaluates and recommends actions to the Senate concerning academic programs and standards.
Budget Study Committee
The Budget Study Committee studies and reports to the Senate on matters related to the budget of the university.
Child Care Ad Hoc Committee
Committee on Committees
The Committee on Committees names the members of senate committees and recommends faculty members for senate liaisons, university committees, and councils.
Faculty Status and Welfare Committee
The Faculty Status and Welfare Committee investigates and recommends to the Senate on matters relating to the status and welfare of the faculty.

Standing Study Committees are charged with receiving, studying, and recommending action by the Senate on questions referred to them by the Agenda Committee.
