Michelle Kiser, Ed.D.

Senior Director - Support Operations For Academic Retention

Dr. Kiser is the Senior Director of Support Operations for Academic Retention (SOAR) and Raider Ready. She received her Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, and Doctorate of Education at Texas Tech University. Dr. Kiser has worked with Texas Success Initiative for five years before becoming Director of SOAR in May 2009. Currently, Dr. Kiser manages RaiderReady and four programs within the department of SOAR; The Learning Center, Supplemental Instruction, Texas Success Initiative, and Programs for Academic Development and Retention. Dr. Kiser has worked at Texas Tech University for 17 years. Dr. Kiser is an active CASA volunteer for seven years, loves Red Raider sports and Texas Tech University, and she will always be a Red Raider! Wreck'Em Tech!

Will Lopez, M.S.Ed.

Assistant Director - Supplemental Instruction

Will received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Kansas State University, and a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education from Baylor University. He has been at Texas Tech since 2013, serving in a variety of roles working with Fraternities, Sororities, and Student Organizations. Most recently he worked with the Office of the Dean of Students from 2015-2017. In his spare time Will likes to travel, exercise, and watch college football.

Shavanna Caruso

Coordinator - Supplemental Instruction

Shavanna received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Honors College and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University. She is originally from New Mexico, but considers Lubbock to be her home. During her time as a graduate student, she was a Graduate Part-Time Instructor for Public Speaking and a Graduate Assistant for the Communication Training Center. In her free time, she enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, playing sports, and pretty much anything outdoors. She also loves cheering on the Red Raiders at any TTU sporting event!

Molly McLean

Coordinator - Supplemental Instruction

Molly received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University and a Master of Education in Higher Education from Texas Tech University. As an undergraduate and graduate student, Molly has worked with orientation and other new student programs. Molly has been at Texas Tech since 2017 and enjoys exploring new places in Lubbock when she gets the chance. She also enjoys cooking and traveling in her spare time.
