- By-Laws: No report
- Elections (& Nominations): Emergency meeting for Senators on alternate list; EEO reps for service needed; nominations for Dr. Munoz – Equity/Diversity Council: Daniel Sanchez volunteered.
- Issues: Issue 3, 4, and 7 vote passed to refer to President Bailey’s Office; Issue 9 vote passed for action taken to bypass Senate and send straight to President Bailey’s Office; Pending issue for next meeting
- Scholarship: January 7th opening scholarships for the spring; pick up applications on the following Monday for review
- University Parking: New parking lots (more info to come)
- Gender Equity: Going to change to Diversity
- Faculty Senate: No report
- Communications and Public Relations: Met before Holiday Break and discussed new OP for food, combining July and December Meet and Greet to make meeting more productive to help justify need for food; Staff appreciation basketball game: lots of fun! Thanks to Stephanie Rhode and Mike Gunn, there were issues with food vouchers, but it has been taken care of; Bravo! Board: hope to increase employee morale and recognize staff; $10 gift certificate drawing each month for those that have been recognized; Strive for Honor Week: sell shirts $5; Adrien Bennings developed a proposal for New Employee Orientation called “Guns UP”; Fit Tech: Let Britta know which level you would like to be in.
