Science Students
The 'Sciences' include a wide variety of courses and programs at Texas Tech including programs in agriculture, social and behavioral sciences, and natural sciences. Below we have listed a number of programs for science students; please also check with your departmental office to learn of more opportunities specific to your degree.

- College of Arts & Sciences - The College of Arts & Sciences offers 44 Bachelor's degrees, 107 Masters degrees and 18 Doctoral degrees. It is also home to 515 tenure track faculty and 33% of all students enrolled at TTU, with 8,333 undergraduate and 1,285 graduate students. - TTU/HHMI Undergraduate Science Education Program - The TTU/HHMI Undergraduate Science Education Program research experience allows undergraduate students to earn money while gaining valuable career-related science, technology, and science education experiences.
- Noyce - The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science teachers by providing monetary and educational support throughout their college experience.
- The Plains Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program (not currently accepting applications) is a partnership between South Plains College and Texas Tech University which aims to help students from underrepresented groups interested in science succeed in higher education and to help them make a smooth, successful transition to a four-year institution.
- PRISM - PRISM is a new undergraduate research program at Texas Tech. Open to a select group of High School Seniors, TTU Freshmen, and TTU Sophomores, PRISM not only introduces students to the world of biomathematics research, but provides scholarships as well.
