Larry K. Phillippe As the director of Student Disability Services, Larry Phillippe brings over 25 years of experience in public education working with disabled students. He received his Bachelors of Behavioral Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Hardin-Simmons University and his Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center . Larry is also a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.Student Disability Services has evolved into a program that provides both innovative and comprehensive services to students with all types of disabilities. Students can take advantage of classroom accommodations designed to help them be highly successful in the classroom, as well as a wide array of support services including assistive technology for full classroom access and training seminars for academic success. The TECHniques Center of Student Disability Services provides a highly specialized optional academic enhancement service for students with Learning Disabilities and ADHD. The only program of its kind in Texas , The TECHniques Center has been recognized by a professional with the International Dyslexia Association as being one of the top 5 programs in the nation for comprehensive services for students with Learning Disabilities. |
