Appeals Process for Denial of Services or Accommodations
Students who are denied services or denied a specific accommodation request by Student Disability Services may appeal the decision to the Managing Director. If the decision of denial is upheld by the Managing Director of Student Disability Services, the student may then appeal the decision to Dr. Jan Childress, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. The decision of Dr. Childress, also the ADA Compliance Officer for Students, is the final ruling. Students may then file a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights if they feel that they have been discriminated against with the decision.
