Travel to RRO
All RRO programming will take place on the Texas Tech University campus in Lubbock, Texas. Travel arrangements should not be made until AFTER receiving confirmation of the Red Raider Orientation reservation via email. Once you've received your confirmation, you're ready to plan your trip to Lubbock.
Please pay attention to the start and end times of your program. You don't want to miss something important, like registering for your courses.

On-Campus Parking for RRO
Students and guests are able to park on-campus for free during orientation by registering their vehicle.
A parking registration link will be sent to each attendee one week before your session with instructions to register your vehicle. Vehicles not registered may receive a parking citation and could possibly be towed.
Please note: Registering your vehicle for parking during RRO is different than registering your
vehicle for on-campus parking during the academic year.

If you are renting a car and do not know your license plate number, you can register for parking on-site. However, if you do know your license plate, it is STRONGLY encouraged that you register your vehicle before coming to campus.
Parking in other lots, reserved spaces, or in fire lanes will result in a parking citation. All handicap parking spots on campus are available to registered vehicles with a current handicap permit that is displayed in the vehicle.
Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport (Code: LBB) is only 20 minutes from campus and flies American Eagle, Southwest, and United Airlines.
