Appeals Process for Denial of Services or Accommodations
Students who are denied services or denied a specific accommodation request by a Student Disability Services counselor may appeal the decision to the Managing Director. If the decision of denial is upheld by the Managing Director of Student Disability Services, the student may then appeal the decision to Dr. Juan Munoz, Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Student Affairs. The decision of Dr. Munoz is the final ruling. Students may then file a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights if they feel that they have been, due to their disability, discriminated against with the decision.
