TAWC Field Talk
TAWC Field Talk will feature producers, irrigation technology and research experts, and Texas AgriLife county extension agents. It will be aired daily from May through August on 900AM KFLP (Floydada-Lubbock) and 800AM KDDD (Dumas-Amarillo). Click Here to Listen Live
TAWC 2013 Field Walks
The TAWC will hold a series of Field Walks throughout the 2013 growing season to observe and discuss the crop progress and irrigation usage on several project fields. These walks will be a great time for producers to hear what others are doing to best manage their water and participate in question and answer conversation with other farmers and researchers. Our next Field Walk will be held on Wednesday, July 10, starting at 9am, 2.4 miles south of Lockney on HWY 378 at Eddie Teeter's farm, TAWC site 21. We will be looking at irrigation managment stratagies and crop progress of corn, cotton and grain sorghum throughout the summer. Other upcoming Field Walks are tenatively scheduled for July 31, August 15 and September 11.
TAWC 2013 Summer Field Day
The Pioneers in Agriculture Series is designed to connect today’s producers with the latest research information through a shared experience that draws on our knowledge-building traditions of field days and farm walks.
This year's summer field day will take place on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at the Floyd County Unity Center in Muncy, Texas. Please check back soon for an agenda.
Texas Cotton Ginners Association Trade Show

Sorghum U
Sorghum U is a new two-event series sponsored by the Sorghum Checkoff, Sorghum Partners LLC, and High Plains Journal that will give producers in Kansas and Texas an opportunity to explore the profitability and water management qualities of grain sorghum. TAWC 2013 Winter Meeting

2012 Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show
Each year, TAWC has a booth at the Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show held at the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas. In 2012, the show will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 27 and Nov. 28, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 29. Admission is $7, the proceeds being donated back to the local FFA chapters.
Summer 2012 Water Management Update Series
TAWC, in cooperation with Texas AgriLife Extension Service, hosted three meetings to discuss advances in irrigation management.

TAWC Field Days
This year's winter field days took place on February 14, 2012, at the Bailey County Electric Co-op in Muleshoe, Texas, as well as, February 24, 2012, at the South Plains College Sundown Room in Levelland, Texas.
