Jones AT&T Stadium Pedestrian Bridge

TxDOT received complaints from pedestrians after a  heavily- attended football game at Texas Tech’s Jones AT&T Stadium. Many people cited feeling the bridge sway alarmingly as the crowd crossed. TechMRT researchers installed instrumentation and monitored movement after the next big game, and while it was found that the movement was not dangerous, the bridge was retrofitted  to control movement and ease users’ concerns.
