TECHniques Center Interview & Mandatory Meeting
First semester students must attend an informational interview. Please call our office to schedule your interview if you have not already done so. You will not be eligible to begin tutoring unless you attend this meeting. We encourage you to have this meeting sometime over the summer, particularly if you will be in town to attend New Student Orientation.
Students who are new to the TECHniques Center will also attend a TECHniques Center mandatory meeting. This meeting takes place before classes start and covers policies of the TECHniques Center, self-advocacy tips, and other helpful information to ease students into the transition of college and/or working with the TECHniques Center. During this time, we will provide new information and updates for the semester and introduce you to your tutor. Attendance at this meeting is required of all TECHniques Center students. Failure to attend this meeting may delay your ability to begin tutoring.
