Fees for the
Program
As a fee-for-service program, the TECHniques Center must charge a fee above the university tuition and fees. This covers the expense of tutoring, support services, and resources for student participants. Fees are included each semester on a student's university bill and should be included in their statement of financial need.
Students may choose to participate on a full-service basis, which includes all support services, or on a partial-service basis, which does not include tutorial services. Partial-service students may pay for tutorial services on an hourly-rate basis. Students in their first year at Texas Tech must participate in the TECHniques Center's full-service basis. During their first month with the TECHniques Center, student participants will receive an individual learning style assessment.
TECHniques Center Fees:
Full-service participant: $1250 per fall/spring semester
Partial-service participant: $500 per fall/spring semester
Summer participant: $500 per summer session
