Did you know there are hundreds of websites and applications for your phone, tablet, and computer geared to help you succeed in college? This seminar will focus on resources for time management and creative studying.

January 31- February 2
Do You Know Your Learning Style?

Do you know your learning style? Come find out your learning style and get the most out of your classes. You will also learn about some helpful websites and apps for the various learning styles.

February 7-9
Foundations of Study Skills

Our instructors teach us the material, but who teaches us how to study? This seminar will prepare you to study smarter, as well as discuss the science behind studying more efficiently. After all, knowing how to study is as important as knowing what to study.

February 14-16
Writing Strategies

This is a basic seminar recommended for freshman and sophomore students. Learn foundational writing strategies including brainstorming, free writing, organization, thesis and content development, and revision. To get the most out of this session, bring a writing assignment you’re working on.

February 21-23
Re-evaluating Your Goals: Are You on Track?

We all set goals in January that this semester is going to be better than the Fall. But how is it going? This seminar will help you re-evaluate and take controle of your goals and set you on a path towards a successful semester.
