Red Raider Orientation

Texas Success Initiative
Texas State Law requires entering students to complete a Texas Success Initiative (TSI) approved test or meet exemptions prior to enrolling in college-level courses at Texas public colleges or universities. Students entering Texas Tech must report official TSI scores or provide documentation of an exemption before attending Red Raider Orientation. Out-of-state students and those who have not had the opportunity to sit for the statewide exam need to contact Academic Testing Services at (806) 742-3671 for more information regarding testing for a TSI exam.

To know if you are eligible for an exemption, you must meet one of the requirements listed online at www.depts.ttu.edu/registrar/TSI/TSIindex.html.
